Pizza Battle New York City
We went to New York City this past September. Over four days, we tried many slices of ‘za. We had a lot of fun ranking each slice judging by sauce, crust, and street ‘eatability’.
Our favourite was Prince Street. They had a ton of photos of celebrities on the wall who have visited in the past. The gallery was a lot fun to look at while waiting in line.
Second up was Artichoke Basille on W44, the street filled with a bunch of famous comedy clubs. We sat on a stoop we probably shouldn’t have and did some people watching over a slice.
The most memorable was Zeff Pizza, in Brooklyn, our first slice in New York. The sauce was bright, the pizza tip was still crunchy and crust was crunchy. Can’t get much better than that.
