2019 Book Club in Linocuts

This is a set of linocut postcards I made for my book club throughout 2019. Each represents a book we read and I mailed the the good old fashioned way.

Linocut of an owl sitting on a tree branch
A linocut of London's skyline - also flipped upside down
Linocut of a hand overtop of a chain
A linocut portrail of a woman with a border of the moon cycles and vines
A linocut of a naked woman standing in a forest in front of a lake with mountains in the background
A linocut of a snake wrapping around a padlock and licking a set of handcuffs
A victorian style portrait of a woman in profile, bordered by laurel and a poinsetta bloom

These are wonderful! But what are the books???

That is a great point! I will add that to the post – thanks! The Owl was our book club “logo”. And the books were Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Kindred by Octavia Butler, The Girl Who Was Saturday Night by Heather O’Neill, Wild Fierce Life: Dangerous Moments on the Outer Coast by Joanna Streetly, anything by Toni Morrison, Sex Criminals Vol. 1 by Matt Fraction, and finally Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
