Learning to Paint Water
Pandemic times have given me a lot of mental space and time to keep working on my watercolour painting. Since I started painting five years ago, I’ve ALWAYS wanted to paint beautiful water scenes and just. couldn’t. get. it. right.
I saw a short online course from Shari Blaukopf, an artist from Montreal, and it was fantastic! Three lessons – learned the tricks of the trade and improved quite a bit.

Over the last six months, I’ve noticed a growing passion for nature illustrations. It would be my dream to be invited to an scientific expedition to capture the experience in drawings. So this is step 1 in trying to achieve that dream.

I love the first painting. Nice work Mere 🎨
