Presently in my life I’ve drastically downsized my home. I’ve been diagnosed with a serious disease and this year devoted myself to emptying my home of everything not needed for my daily life. As well my attention span has changed somewhat and I’ve found that I will borrow a book from the public library and start reading it on my Libby app only to return it early because I just didn’t get around to reading it.

Basically I deleted my FB account and Instagram out of annoyance with the political situation. And stopped any interaction with Amazon, which I rarely ordered from, although I did enjoy ordering books occasionally. I use Goodreads barely at all anymore because of my less interest in reading books.
I haven’t deleted Goodreads as I like to read friends reviews of what they are reading.
The new app you mention sounds excellent!!

Since reading your post this morning, I think I might check at Shoppers to see if the copy of The Sentence is still available to buy.
The one other book I intend to go to Indigo and buy, and I really think Ill be able to read it through is Land by Maggie O’Farrel. Have you considered reading it. My family ancestors did leave/were expelled from Ireland in late 1940s and I have an ongoing interest in reading about this time in Irish history.
I think it should be an excellent read.
